Suzan Laverick

Suzan joins GoggleSquad after 10 years at Water Babies, the respected swim school dedicated to baby and toddler swimming lessons, where she was a senior swim teacher.

As well as teaching, Suzan has been responsible for recruiting and training new teachers and prides herself on her excellent relationship with parents as well as learners in her care.

Suzan’s training is second to none, and her experience teaching children from as young as six weeks old, means she is well placed to teach GoggleSquad’s swimming programme for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. 

Suzan has considerable experience teaching children with special educational needs, including deaf children as well as those with Down’s syndrome and cerebral palsy.

A qualified first aider, Suzan has her ASA Levels 1 and 2 teaching qualifications as well as her Level 3 qualification for teaching preschool swimming.  

As well as swimming, Suzan enjoys cycling, karting, skiing, ice skating and long walks with her dog and when it comes to down time she enjoys nothing more than gaming with her family. 

Suzan teaches children at Feltonfleet School in Cobham and babies and toddlers at our Claygate and Walton-on-Thames venues.
